Ζει σε κρυστάλλινη διάρκεια
ο γάτος μου,
μέσα σε κολονάτα ποτήρια.
Τα μουστάκια του είναι οι φυσαλίδες
του αφρώδους οίνου
μία προς μία τις κτενίζω
προς τα ουράνια.

Αν πεθάνει ο γάτος μου
θα ξεχειλίσει το ποτήρι
άσπρος αφρός θα χυθεί
στο τραπέζι από ξύλο κερασιάς.
Καθώς θα βλασταίνει
ο θάνατός του, σαν κερασιά
σε ανθοφορία

κάθε παρακλάδι θανάτου
θα ξεχύνεται
από ένα παραγεμισμένο
ποτήρι καμπανίτη.
