Turkish Van cats (Van Kedisi in Turkish) love to swim and eat chocolate (allegedly), are extremely affectionate and usually have one blue and one amber eye. The city of Lake Van has statues in their honor and their image is used in ads for local businesses. Lake Van is mecca for cat freaks. The Van Yüzüncü Yil Universitesi (Van Hundredth Year University) has a breeding and research center for the cats called the Van Cat House. Outsiders aren’t allowed to buy these radical babe cats. |
